How to receive transfer credit for course(s) in an online degree program at New England University from other accredited universities.

NEU will consider transfer credits for its degree programs according to the following standards/policy:

Bachelors Degrees: Students can transfer credits from other universities to a bachelor online degree program up to 75% of the online degree program at NEU.
 
Masters Degrees: Students can transfer credits from other universities to a master online degree program up to 45% of the online degree program at NEU. Credit transfers can not apply for any Masters Thesis Course.
 
Doctorate Degrees: Students can transfer credits from other universities to a doctorate online degree program up to 45% of the online degree program at NEU. Credit transfers can not apply for any doctoral proposal or dissertation course.

How to Transfer a Degree or course to Higher Place Christian University

1. Enroll for any program at NEU.
2. Send official copy of your transcripts for evaluation to:

3. Your transcript is evaluated and credits are awarded accordingly.

Grade Policy

90-100: A
80-90: B
70-80: C
60-70: D
0-60: F

GPA standard minimum to graduate: 2.5 (Associate/Bachelors) 2.5 (Masters) 3.0 (Doctorate)

Any score less than minimum GPA (except in certification) leads to academic probation or suspension

Class Formats

NEU is a unique and non-traditional school. Our class formats are different. Some classes meet once a week on campus, online with
a live professor, others are pre-recorded online classes, DVD books, audio courses, E-books, text books and via video technology.
You can chose whatever format works best for you.

All NEU courses are fast paced accelerated degree programs. Degree programs that should take 4-5 years in traditional brick and mortar schools are all condensed so students can finish and earn their respective degrees in 1, 2 or 3 years.

 
For example, with NEU, you can earn your Bachelor’s, Master’s Degree and Doctoral course work under two years because we offer life time experience credits to students who qualify.

Note that Doctoral Dissertation may take the student a few months or years time to prepare and defend.
